WELCOME 2022-2023 band students and their families!!!
Greetings Parents, Guardians and Students of Broncho Band! We are looking forward to an exciting new season of band and we want to provide you with an introduction to the Booster Club.
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE BOOSTER CLUB?The purpose of the Odessa High School Band Booster Club is to provide support of physical and financial needs beyond what the school district can provide, and to communicate and advocate the benefits of the OHS band program to the community.
WHO CAN JOIN THE BOOSTER CLUB?
You can join! The OHS Band Booster Club is a 501c3 organization (tax exempt status) that consists of parents, staff, and directors working together to enrich our fine arts community. We offer a variety of ways people can lend a hand. We ask all families to become members and we ENCOURAGE PARENT PARTICIPATION! The OHS Band Booster Club is continually looking for members who are able to volunteer their time and efforts to support our band members. We invite all band families to join the Booster Club.
PARENT MEMBERSHIP AND INVOLVEMENT IS IMPORTANT TO OUR SUCCESS!!!
HOW IS THE BOOSTER CLUB FUNDED?
The money raised through clothing sales, fundraising activities, snack sales, silent auctions, etc. help cover expenses incurred by marching drill design, music arrangement, contest fees, travel, specialized instruction, supplemental supplies, instrument repairs/replacements, meals, social activities and more. The funds raised by the Booster Club can also help keep band fees low for our students.
IF I JOIN, WHAT DO I DO?
Once you join, you can decide how much time and what level of involvement you can provide. The Booster Club meetings will be held the first Thursday of each month (time and location will be posted). We welcome your ideas, attendance to meetings and your vote in decision-making. You are also invited to become involved in our fundraising activities through volunteering. Your ideas and efforts are sure to make a difference.

We are VERY MUCH in need of volunteers to step into Board Member or Chair positions.
